Despite being born and raised a Yankee, Valerie Steimle moved to southern Alabama with her husband and nine children and has found herself partial to the south. She has always been passionate about families and despite being busy with her own, felt compelled to write about them. Starting with a column in the local newspaper, she has since published several books regarding family issues. During that time her husband passed away suddenly and she was left to raise their five youngest children alone. She moved forward with faith however, and has found happiness in her writing, her family, and her remarriage.

Heidi Murphy is a "writer-of-all-trades". She writes under the name of H. Linn Murphy for Regency romance, Latter-day Saint romance, paranormal romance, and historical fiction and under the name of Indigo Chase for Science Fiction. She graduated with a double major of Advertising Art/Illustration/General Studies, which shouldn't have morphed into writing, but did.

She and her family are hostages of the desert and wish to move somewhere green, with real seasons. She loves to travel, read, swim, hike, camp, swordplay, and plays the guitar, tin whistle, some piano, and bodrhan (Irish drum).

She's also a freelance artist and works for the Boy Scouts. Someday she's going to find her family castle, find her Scottish pirate ancestor, go back to Europe, and get her loads of books published.

She writes (so far) for Walnut Springs and Deseret Book with one book at XLibris.

When Monique Bucheger isn’t writing, you can find her playing taxi cab driver to one or more of her 12 children, plotting her next novel, scrapbooking, or being the “Mamarazzi” at any number of child-oriented events. Even though she realizes there will never be enough hours in any given day, Monique tries very hard to enjoy the journey that is her life. She shares it with a terrific husband, her dozen children, 2 sons-in-law, an adorable granddaughter, two cats, and many real and imaginary friends. Jaclyn Weist is an Idaho farm girl who grew up loving to read. She developed a love for writing as a senior in high school, when her dad jokingly said she was the next Dr. Seuss (not even close but very sweet). She met her husband, Steve at BYU and they have six happy, crazy children that encourage her writing. After owning a bookstore and running away to have adventures in Australia, they settled back down in their home in Utah. Jaclyn now spends her days herding her kids to various activities and trying to remember what she was supposed to do next.

Lisa Swinton caught the romance bug early by way of fairy tales and hasn’t been able to cure it since. Instead, she feeds her addiction with romance novels and films. In between being a doctor’s wife and a mother of two, she spends her summers performing in community theater and painting her house. In her elusive spare time she enjoys researching her family tree and baking (especially with chocolate). She loves Jane Austen, traveling, and all things Italian. In her next life, she plans to be a professional organizer.

Donna Gonzales had the blessing of being a stay at home mom and raising 8 children, all of whom are happily married. She has 18 grandchildren with number 19 arriving in August. She graduated with a degree in Literature and Writing from California State University San Marcos where she was on the newspaper and magazine staffs. Her writing is mostly LDS romance, but she’s also writing a semi-autobiography about growing up in the 50’s. She dips into a couple of other books outside her chosen genre from time to time. She likes to crochet, work counted cross stitch, and her new discovery Swedish Weaving along with scrap booking. She dabbles in quilting and knitting, but doesn’t like needlepoint. She likes traveling, but gave up on tenting years ago. After a 9 month cross country road trip in 20012, she and her husband sold their RV, so now they stay in motels when they travel. She lives in north San Diego County, California. She has lived in southern California all of her life except when she and her husband were first married and he was going to BYU (Brigham Young University) then that other school, University of Utah, for his masters.

Jewel Allen is an award-winning journalist, author, ghostwriter, mom, and politician who grew up in the tropics (Manila, Philippines) and now lives in the desert (Utah, USA). She runs a memoir publishing company, Treasured Stories, and is the author of the young adult novel Ghost Moon Night. In November 2015, she made Utah state history by being the first Filipino-American to be elected to a City Council (Grantsville). She's been a lead singer of a rock band and loves anything that reminds her of the tropics.

Lisa Rector is a Maryland native and can’t imagine living anywhere else. She married her high school sweetheart for time and all eternity in the Washington D.C. Temple after she fell in love with his endless sense of humor. Lisa enjoyed a short stint as a labor and delivery nurse before becoming a stay-at-home mom for her two beautiful daughters. In addition to her newfound love of writing, her passions are gardening, yoga, and her faith in Jesus Christ. Her favorite delights are decadent homemade cakes, cookies, or brownies—never store-bought.
